Leadership
Nick Turner
Executive Director, Asset Management
Nick Turner has over 20 years’ experience in the investment, development and asset management of multi-let commercial real estate across the UK. As Asset Management Director, Nick is responsible for the creative and proactive management of the existing portfolio, with a particular focus on customer care, leasing, development, refurbishment and marketing. Nick is a Chartered Surveyor and holds an Honours degree in Estate Management from Reading University.
Richard Pellatt
Executive Director, Investment
Richard Pellatt oversees all aspects of the added value process from sourcing, negotiating and acquiring properties, through the active asset management phase to disposal at the completion of business plan. He has been involved in over £2.5 billion of career transactions including UK Land Estates, Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth, Broad Gate in Leeds, The Blade in Reading, Deva City Office Park in Manchester and Spectrum Point in Farnborough. Prior to joining the company in February 2006 he worked in national investment at DTZ in London. A chartered surveyor, Richard holds a Geography Degree from Durham University, Masters Degree in Property Valuation & Management from Sheffield Hallam University and the FCA Approved Securities Institute Certificate in Corporate Finance.
Alan Bishop
Executive Director, Finance
Alan Bishop heads the Finance function, responsible for all areas of financial reporting, cash management and operations, forecasting and taxation for the group. He is also responsible for raising of debt finance having secured loans totalling over £1.3bn during his time with the company.
Adam Pickerill
Director, Projects
Adam Pickerill is the Technical Director based in our Birmingham Office. He is responsible for the delivery of all technical aspects of our acquisition and asset improvement programme across the portfolio. Adam joined the company in 2007 and is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over twenty years’ experience gained within the commercial sector, having previously worked in private practice for King Sturge and GSD Property Consultants. Adam holds an Honours degree in Building Surveying from Birmingham City University.
Iain Taylor
Director, Asset Management
Iain joined the company in September 2008 to work in the Asset Management Team following 3 years working at Close Investments Limited (part of Close Brothers Group PLC). Iain is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years of Asset Management experience and is the Asset Manager responsible for Broad Gate in Leeds and other properties and estates throughout the North of England.
Mark Evans
Director, Investment & Asset Management
Mark Evans is an Investment and Asset Manager who heads the Scotland office. Mark, who is a Chartered Surveyor, joined the company in 2001 as an Asset Manager after obtaining a Real EstateDegree from the Nottingham Trent University. His main responsibility at Northwood is the sourcing of investment opportunities nationwide and managing the existing portfolio with a particular focus on the office and industrial sectors in Scotland.
Henry Fry
Director, Investment
Henry joined the company in 2008 and works in the investment team identifying acquisition and disposal opportunities. Prior to this, Henry spent seven years working for CBRE initially working in the Banking Valuation Advisory Team, before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003. He subsequently worked in the Capital Markets national team where he specialised in business space investment, primarily in the South of England. Henry holds an MA in Property Valuation and Law from City University
