Diamond Point, off Vulcan Road, is now two-thirds let or under offer as another firm has just taken occupation in two of the purpose-built commercial units.

Medequip Assistive Technology, which provides community equipment services to local authorities and the NHS across the UK, is the latest business to see the potential in Diamond Point.

The firm, which delivers a wide range of equipment and support to people in their own homes, has let Units 15 and 16, a total of 33,246 sq ft.

Diamond Point, owned by Northwood Urban Logistics and jointly marketed by Brown&Co, JLL and Bidwells, launched earlier last year as a slick and modern industrial estate north of Norwich City centre.

The secret to Diamond Point’s success is the build quality and sustainability features which are particularly appealing in today’s economic climate.

Current occupiers include major firms such as Smurfit Kappa, Seward Refrigeration Ltd and Xenor.

Units ranging from 3,307sqft-18,152sqft are still available and come with incentive packages.

Anna Smith, Commercial Surveyor, Brown&Co, Norwich, said: “This scheme was launched offering modern, well designed units providing much needed investment and innovation in one of the prime industrial and manufacturing areas in Norwich.

“The scheme has attracted some major firms already. However, we are still able to accommodate interested parties with a range of units sizes and incentive available.”

Energy-saving features include the fact units come with an assurance of a minimum 10.83% decrease in CO2 emissions in accordance with the 2010 Buildings Regulations.

‘Green’ initiatives also include units on a low air permeability design, electric vehicle charging points, photovoltaic panels on some units, increased natural lighting and high-performance insulated cladding and roof materials.
